We can develop our inner world so we can move through it in the best possible way.

About me

A human, caring way of listening

Fabiana Scremin is a psychoanalyst registered with Brazil's National Council of Psychoanalysis (CNP 06/1520), trained at the Brazilian Association of Philosophy and Psychoanalysis in São Paulo, and also holds a degree in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.

She works with adolescents and adults, in a practice guided by Freudian and Kleinian psychoanalysis — the traditions of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, and of Melanie Klein, a central reference in the study of our inner world and our deepest relationships. In the clinic, this translates into attentive listening to what — often without our noticing — moves our feelings, choices and repetitions, always respecting each person's singularity.

She keeps her psychoanalytic studies constantly up to date and is a lifetime member of the National Council of Psychoanalysis.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions

I've never been in analysis. How does it work?
Psychoanalysis is a space of listening and freedom: you talk about what you feel, think and live, at your own pace, and together we make sense of what emerges. There is no right answer and no preparation needed — the process is built in the relationship, session by session. Just come as you are.
Are sessions online or in person?
Both. In-person sessions take place at Espaço Integração, in Granja Viana (Cotia, São Paulo — Brazil), in a private, welcoming space. Online sessions happen by video, wherever you are, with the same listening and the same care — many patients alternate between formats as their routine changes.
Do you see adolescents and adults?
Yes. My practice is dedicated to adolescents and adults, respecting the moment and the singularity of each stage of life.
What is your approach?
My practice is guided by Freudian and Kleinian psychoanalysis. The Freudian approach comes from Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, who showed how the unconscious shapes what we feel and do; the Kleinian approach, developed by Melanie Klein, deepens the study of our inner world and our earliest relationships. In practice, it is a work of listening that starts from your own words, to understand what repeats itself, what hurts and what can be transformed — at your pace, without judgment.
How often are sessions?
Sessions are usually weekly, especially at the beginning, while we build the bond and come to understand what brings you to analysis. Frequency is always agreed between us, according to your needs and your moment.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes, fully. Everything said in session is confidential and protected by professional secrecy, both in person and online. Confidentiality is one of the foundations that make analysis a safe space.
How do I book a session?
You can reach out on WhatsApp or through the form on this website. I will get back to you personally so we can talk, answer your first questions and find the best time to begin.
Do you give talks and courses?
Yes. Beyond the clinic, I bring psychoanalysis and mental health topics to companies, schools and events, through talks, courses and special projects. If you have an invitation or an idea, I would be glad to talk.
